The Dangers Of Promiscuity
Last time I discussed about *Destiny Killers* and I mentioned some of the factors that can jeopardize a bright destiny.
I mentioned some bad characters and attitudes that can adversely affect the fulfilment of a bright destiny and I also pointed out some bad habits like Drunkenness, smoking/drug abuse and womanizing as serial destiny killers.
I made a promise to analyse each of the habits one after the other and so far I have done justice to the cases of drunkenness and drug abuse.
But lastly I want to discuss about womanizing which I can say no doubt the most dangerous destiny.
Though I will like to analyse this issue of womanizing under this topic *the danger of promiscuity.*
Promiscuity is an amorous habit of flirting with different women.
Promiscuity is an act of indiscriminate sexual escapade which can lead both man and woman to public show of shame.
Under the compound of promiscuity or sexual immorality, we have formication, adultery, lesbianism, homosexuality, masturbation, incest, bestiality etc.
The scripture sternly warned us about sexual immorality in Exodus 20:14
*You shall not commit adultery*
Womanizing has both health, physical and spiritual consequences.
The health hazard of promiscuity is that it can lead to sexual addiction, lack of self control, heart attack, lower back pain, sickness/diseases .
That is why the book of Proverbs has this to say about womanizing
*Do not give your strength to women, Nor your ways to that which destroys kings* ( Proverbs 31:3)

Samson according the scripture is the strongest man in the history of the world.
But womanizing made mockery of him (Judges 16:18-19)
*When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up once more, for he has told me all his heart.” So the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hand.19 Then she lulled him to sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him*
Like Samson, there are thousands and millions of powerful men who lost their power, wealth, glory and sometimes life on the laps of women.
*Promiscuity* in women has so many health risks which includes urinary tract infection, unwanted pregnancy, abortion, pelvic infection, uterine perforation, hemorrhage and sudden death .
Promiscuity can also result to broken relationship, broken marriages, broke homes and family crisis etc.
Womanizing can bring down even the most gifted person on earth and destroy his dreams.
Solomon was arguably the wisest king according to the scripture, but women brought him down (1kings 11:1-4)
*But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites—2 from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love.3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David*
No wonder the scripture has this to say in proverbs 23 vs 27
*For a harlot is a deep pit, And a seductress is a narrow well.*
And in proverbs 6 vs 25 the Bible says
*Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, Nor let her allure you with her eyelids* *26 For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread; And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life* .

So my brother don’t say that you are too wise or smart.
You are not wiser than Solomon.
And don’t think that you are too strong to fall victim to women.
You are not stronger than Samson, but a woman shaved his hair and tormented him.
So run away from sexual immorality and save your life and destiny.
