Integrity is the quality of being honest, noble, blameless, trustworthy and sincere.
Integrity is an attitude that can distinguish someone in a mixed multitude especially in a corrupt society like ours.
The Bible says in proverbs 20:7 “The righteousman walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him”
Integrity brings a special reserve of honour to a man even after his death (Proverbs 11:3)
Integrity brings fondness to the memory of a man and makes his name live forever, but corruption lives shame and dishonour behind a perverse man.
Integrity is about standing for what is right and just even when the odds are against you.
Integrity is not about being rigid, difficult or tough to deal with, but integrity is about being reasonable, diplomatic and standing up for equity, fairness and Justice.
Integrity may not guarantee enormous wealth or fatty bank accounts, but integrity brings the assurances of peaceful and happy life.
Unlike perversity and corruption which can bring hypertension, prison and untimely death.
Integrity is obviously the most important Christian religious value.
A man of integrity can not participate in any act of criminality, partiality, nepotism, favouritism, cheating or infidelity (Isaiah 33:15-16).
Integrity has numerous rewards for a man and his children in this life and the one after.
The Bible has this prophetic declaration for the man of integrity in Proverbs 28:18
“Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved,
But he who is perverse in his ways will fall”
Corrupt people pursue dishonest gain at the expense of others and one day they will die and live everything.
But the man of integrity pursue peace and love for the good of humanity.
